Summary:

The Warehouse Associate at Martin plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks, including material handling, inventory management, stocking, and providing excellent customer service. Your dedication, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively will contribute to our overall success in helping companies operate better.


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Pull materials as ordered by customers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in fulfilling orders.
  • Receive incoming products and accurately record them in the inventory control software, maintaining proper documentation and tracking.
  • Stock materials in their designated locations within the warehouse and on the customer's manufacturing floor, following established procedures to ensure efficient storage and retrieval.
  • Perform accurate cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy and identify any discrepancies or issues.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to inquiries and assisting customers with their needs promptly and professionally.
  • Operate the tool crib, maintaining its organization and cleanliness to ensure efficient tool management and accessibility.
  • Fill point of use cabinets as needed, ensuring that materials are readily available for production processes.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, promoting a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
  • Collaborate with the warehouse team to support overall warehouse operations, contributing to a cohesive and productive work environment.
  • Maintain a high level of reliability and dependability, consistently meeting attendance and punctuality requirements.


Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods during warehouse operations, performing tasks such as material handling, stocking, and inventory management.
  • Capable of lifting up to 30 pounds, utilizing proper lifting techniques to prevent injury.
  • Comfortable using ladders or stairs to access elevated storage areas or perform tasks as required.
  • Basic computer skills to navigate inventory control software and other related systems.
  • Demonstrated reliability and dependability, consistently meeting work schedule requirements.
