This position is located on-site in Bellingham, Washington State and can be partially remote (hybrid option).

DEPARTMENT SUMMARY

The SharePoint Engineer is responsible for the design, development, administration, and ongoing support of SharePoint environments used across the organization. This role partners closely with Knowledge Manager, Training, engineering, manufacturing, quality, and program teams to deliver secure, scalable collaboration and document management solutions that support aerospace manufacturing operations and compliance requirements.

ROLES & RESPONIBILITIES

  • Design, implement, and maintain SharePoint Online and/or SharePoint On-Prem environments
  • Develop and configure SharePoint sites, document libraries, workflows, forms, and permissions
  • Support document control, records management, and data governance aligned with CMCC, aerospace and manufacturing standards
  • Create and maintain Power Platform solutions (Power Automate, Power Apps) integrated with SharePoint
  • Manage SharePoint permissions and access using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) groups and role-based access controls
  • Apply and support security best practices across SharePoint and Microsoft 365 collaboration services
  • Lead and support Microsoft Purview initiatives, including data classification, retention policies, and DLP configuration
  • Provide tier 2โ€“3 support for SharePoint and Microsoft 365 issues; troubleshoot and resolve complex problems
  • Partner with business stakeholders to design and deploy solutions using SharePoint, Manage user access, security groups, and compliance configurations
  • Troubleshoot SharePoint performance, permissions, and integration issues
  • Support data migrations, site consolidations, and lifecycle management
  • Maintain documentation, standards, and best practices for SharePoint usage
  • Ensure solutions meet CUI, ITAR, export control, and internal security requirements where applicable
  • Provide user training and technical support as needed
  • Stay current on Microsoft 365 roadmap updates and emerging collaboration tools
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Due to our ITAR and EAR regulations, applicants must be a US Citizen or of Legal Permanent Resident Status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b (a) (3).
  • This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). Janicki will assist with gaining this access once employed. Special Access Program or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position and require that the candidate agrees to enter a Continuous Evaluation program.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field required
  • 3+ years of hands-on SharePoint experience (Online and/or On-Prem)
  • Strong experience with Microsoft 365 administration
  • Experience with Power Automate and Power Apps
  • Knowledge of SharePoint permissions, security models, and governance
  • Experience supporting document management systems in regulated environments
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a manufacturing or engineering-driven organization
  • Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or other highly regulated industries
  • Familiarity with ITAR, AS9100, ISO, or similar compliance frameworks
  • Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx), JavaScript, or custom web parts
  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-900, PL-900, SharePoint-related certs)
  • Experience supporting large-scale document repositories and engineering data
  • Experience with GitHub, PowerShell, and Graph API
  • Preferred Experience with CI/CD and CMMC

DETAILED WAGE INFORMATION

  • Salary range for this role is between $95,000 - $120,000, plus discretionary bonus, 401(k) matching, vacation, and health benefits. Employees can also receive additional pay for off-shifts. The range provided is Janickiโ€™s estimate of the base compensation for this role. Actual amount offered will be based on job-related and non-discriminatory factors such as experience, location, education, training, skills, and abilities
