About the Job

The Document Control Specialist is an essential part of Innovative Labs. This role supports the Document Control department by assisting with document review, editing, control, maintenance, filing, training, and recordkeeping activities related to quality and compliance.


What You’ll Do

  • Create, update, and maintain Master Manufacturing Records (MMRs)
  • Create, update, and maintain SOPs, plans, finished product and raw material specifications, and other quality documentation
  • Collect and submit documentation to certifying agencies
  • Approve specifications, deviations, and change control records
  • Organize, file, and maintain records
  • Work with the Purchasing department to secure required documentation
  • Assist in plant HACCP and food safety programs
  • Participate in ensuring plant-wide prerequisite programs function effectively
  • Perform internal audit reviews
  • Assist in ensuring cGMP compliance
  • Assist in product recall traceability and adverse event reporting
  • Assess non-compliances and recommend corrective actions
  • Assist in managing customer complaints, corrective actions, and CAPAs
  • Perform local travel as required
  • Complete all other duties as assigned
