QA Document Control Associate
Job Summary
This position supports Quality Assurance operations by maintaining, organizing, and digitizing GMP documentation. The role is responsible for ensuring electronic records are complete, accurate, and compliant with quality standards while supporting document control, record management, and data integrity initiatives.
Responsibilities:
* Scan and digitize GMP documentation using established procedures
* Review scanned records to ensure completeness, accuracy, legibility, and proper document formatting
* Perform detailed quality checks to confirm documents are captured in the correct order and orientation
* Identify and resolve documentation issues such as missing pages, duplicate records, incomplete scans, or image quality concerns
* Organize, index, and maintain electronic records in the document management system
* Upload and verify documentation within approved electronic systems
* Maintain tracking logs and document control records
* Support document filing, retrieval, archival, and record management activities
* Handle controlled documentation in accordance with GMP, GDP, and data integrity requirements
* Communicate documentation discrepancies to Quality Assurance personnel for resolution
* Maintain confidentiality of quality records and proprietary information
* Assist with additional Quality Assurance and document control activities as needed
Requirements
* Ability to work a full-time schedule in an office environment
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Prior experience working in a regulated industry required
* Previous experience in Quality Assurance or Document Control within a GMP environment preferred
* Basic understanding of GMP, Good Documentation Practices (GDP), and quality systems
* Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat
* Ability to learn and navigate electronic document management systems
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining document integrity
* Ability to work independently and follow established procedures
* Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods
