Job description

Provide senior-level administration and technical ownership of Exchange Online and messaging services, ensuring reliable mail flow, strong security posture, and alignment with compliance requirements. This roleis responsible forpreparing andmaintainingthe messaging environment to securely support Microsoft Copilot and AI-driven communication capabilities.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Administer andmaintainExchange Online mailboxes, distribution groups, shared mailboxes, and resource mailboxes
  • Design and manage mail flow architecture including connectors, routing, and hybrid configurations
  • Configure and manage Microsoft Defender for Office 365, including anti-phishing, anti-malware, and safe links/attachments policies
  • Maintain and govern tenant allow/block lists and advanced threat protection controls
  • Troubleshoot complex mail flow, delivery failures, spoofing, and authentication issues (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)
  • Automate messaging operations including provisioning, auditing, and reporting
  • Ensure email and calendar data is structured and secured appropriately for Copilot consumption and analysis
  • Identifyand mitigate risks related to Copilot accessing sensitive or restricted email content
  • Support investigations and incident response involving messaging data and AI-driven access patterns
  • Serve as Tier 3 escalation point for messaging-related incidents and outages
  • Develop andmaintaindocumentation, operational standards, and governance policies for messaging services
  • Continuously assess and improve messaging security posture and hygiene
  • Accurately document system changes, incidents, and configurations
  • Perform other duties as assigned
