Nemean Solutions, headquartered in Sierra Vista, AZ, is a certified SBA 8(a) Native Hawaiian Organization (NHO) and veteran-operated company providing advanced Military Intelligence, Enterprise and Cloud IT services, Cybersecurity, Special Operations Forces (SOF) Exercise and Training, and niche Program Support and Professional Services to Federal and State Agencies supporting the US Government Defense, Intelligence and Aerospace sectors.
This position is being posted for a potential government contract opportunity. Employment and compensation are contingent upon contract award. The pay range listed represents a good-faith estimate, in accordance with California pay transparency requirements, and may vary depending on the final contract terms, the candidate's experience, education, and other job-related factors.
Job Overview:
The Information Technology (IT) Lead provides the highest level of support to end users by handling service requests escalated by lower tiers. Support is provided onsite, remotely, over the phone, or via email. The IT Lead develops solutions for complex network, desktop, and server problems, analyzes existing systems, and makes proactive recommendations for improvements. This position develops, maintains, and implements all systems, applications, and networking configurations for the DLIFLC Academic Network.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Provides technical leadership and guidance to IT support staff.
  • Oversees escalated service requests and ensures timely resolution.
  • Coordinates with other leads and management to ensure network and system reliability.
  • Provide advanced technical support for escalated service requests from lower-tier IT staff.
  • Develop, maintain, and implement systems, applications, and networking configurations.
  • Analyze existing systems and proactively recommend improvements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex network, desktop, and server issues.
  • Support end users onsite, remotely, by phone, or email.
  • Maintain advanced knowledge of current Microsoft desktop and server operating systems.
  • Maintain advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL, Exchange, SharePoint, and other server applications.
  • Maintain advanced knowledge of computer and server hardware.
  • Utilize Ivanti Management Suite, Microsoft SCCM, or Jamf Pro for system management.
  • Ensure professional customer service and effective communication with end users.
  • Participate in IT planning, meetings, and provide subject matter expertise as required.
  • Ensure compliance with all security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain documentation of systems, configurations, and procedures.
  • Support the implementation of new technologies and system upgrades.
  • Assist with vulnerability management, patching, and compliance with DoD and Army standards.
  • Provide training and guidance to IT staff as needed.

Competencies:
  • Advanced technical knowledge of Microsoft desktop and server operating systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL, Exchange, SharePoint, and related server applications.
  • Advanced knowledge of computer and server hardware.
  • Familiarity with network troubleshooting and support.
  • Familiarity with Ivanti Management Suite, Microsoft SCCM, or Jamf Pro.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Professional customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and work resourcefully in a dynamic environment.

Requirements
Minimum Requirements/Education:
  • BA/BS from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience, or AA/AS with 7+ years of experience.
  • Any one of the following: IAT Level II (CySA+, Security+, CND, or SSCP) Certification and CE/OS Certification.
  • PMP Certification required.
  • Windows or Apple Certified Technician.

Security Requirement :
  • Active Secret Clearence

Location/Travel Requirements:
Based in Monterey, CA (Presidio of Monterey) with travel to additional sites including HI, AZ, CA, VA, and other CONUS/OCONUS locations as outlined in the PWS.
