Position Description
Crew Members perform a variety of landscape maintenance activities. This includes the use of hand tools and operating a variety of power-driven equipment.
Pay Range
$15.15-$17.50/hour
Essential Functions
โ€ข Lawn mowing and edging
โ€ข Prune and trim trees, shrubs, and flowers
โ€ข Responsible for general clean-up and trash removal
โ€ข Use of power and hand tools
โ€ข Operate power riding mowers, chainsaws, pole saws, blowers, weed eaters, chippers, gas hedge trimmers other equipment and vehicles
โ€ข Perform skilled and unskilled maintenance work involving strenuous tasks often under adverse climatic conditions
โ€ข Understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions
โ€ข Work safely and efficiently with others
โ€ข Maintain adherence to all OSHA standards
โ€ข Operating company vehicle to work site and around work site
โ€ข Reporting equipment failures for repair
โ€ข Perform any other miscellaneous assigned duties
Position Requirements
โ€ข Must be able to work safely
โ€ข Must be able to start as early as 4:30AM
โ€ข Safely operate small pieces of equipment (power and hand tools)
โ€ข Must be able to pass driving test if hired as a driver
โ€ข Experience driving a work truck and trailer is a plus
โ€ข Arizona Driver License and acceptable MVR record (39 months)
Physical Demands/Working Conditions
โ€ข Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis
โ€ข Must be able to stand, walk, bend, squat and kneel for extended periods of time
โ€ข Ability to work in adverse conditions such as excessive heat
โ€ข Able to work in and around various plants and landscaping materials
