The Role:
DLC is on the hunt for a Legal Assistant to join our team at our Corporate HQ office located in Elmsford, NY.  Reporting directly to the Paralegal Director, the Legal Assistant’s duties will include but are not limited to:
  • Monitoring and assisting with corporate compliance, including tracking and completing corporate entity filings
  • Assisting with filing applications and tracking compliance for professional licenses
  • Drafting default notices and other correspondence
  • Conducting legal research
  • Processing invoices
  • Providing other support to the Legal Department

Our Next Legal Assistant Has:
  • Bachelor’s/Associate’s degree, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized
  • Positive, can-do attitude
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment that requires flexibility
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel

The expected salary for this position is $60,000. The actual compensation will be based on factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, market and business considerations and other factors permitted by law.
