Job description

The Opportunity

We are open to:

  • current General Manager (ideally from a franchised background) seeking a more entrepreneurial, hands-on environment
    OR 
  • A high-performing Rooms Division Manager ready to take the next step into a General Manager role 

Both profiles will be considered under the same leadership expectations.

Immediate Impact Role

This is an immediate hire, with initial placement at Atlantic Sands Hotel (188 rooms), where you will:

  • Support the Rooms Division team during the PMS transition to Stayntouch 
  • Assist in integrating key systems, including Stayntouch, Akia, and SynXis 
  • Coach and develop the Front Desk team to elevate guest experience and drive room revenue 
  • Collaborate closely with Group Sales, HR, and Sales & Marketing leadership 

Future Role

Upon completion of the newly acquired 80-room property, you will transition to the General Manager role at that location, having already embedded yourself in the company culture and leadership structure to ensure a seamless opening and operational handover.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all hotel operations with a strong focus on Rooms Division performance 
  • Drive revenue growth through effective yield management and guest experience excellence 
  • Build, mentor, and inspire high-performing teams 
  • Oversee PMS transition (RoomMaster → Stayntouch) and system integrations 
  • Ensure operational efficiency and brand standards are aligned with independent positioning 
  • Collaborate across departments to maximize performance and guest satisfaction 

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven leadership experience in hotel operations (Rooms Division or General Management) 
  • Strong understanding of PMS platforms (Stayntouch experience a plus) 
  • Experience with distribution systems (e.g., SynXis) and guest communication platforms (e.g., Akia) 
  • A hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset suited to independent properties 
  • Passion for guest experience, team development, and revenue performance 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
