Project Manager/Estimator – Fabrication Division

The Position
The Project Manager/Estimators in our Fabrication division works directly with our internal Fabrication and Project Management teams to manage the completion of structural steel projects across Michigan. From estimating structural steel projects to schedule coordination and relationship management with owners and internal stakeholders, the Project Manager/Estimator will play a vital role in the success of the Company’s Fabrication division! This position also works routinely with other departments such as Project Management, Estimating, and Safety.

Desired Experience, Skills, and Abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management or relevant experience is required
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in the construction structural steel projects preferred
  • Understanding of project budgets, cost control and financial management
  • Comfortable working in both shop and office environments
  • Significant experience with computers and a variety of fabricaton software
    • Experience using Tekla Powerfab is a plus!
  • Extreme attention to detail, and willingness to learn

Compensation, Benefits, and Structure
The position is full-time and permanent, with a competitive salary based on skills and experience.
