Location: Briar Hill Condominium, 42 Loomis Street #1, Malden, MA 02148

Schedule: Saturday 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Sunday 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Shift: Afternoon Shift
Pay Rate: $19 - $21

Description:
As a Signal of New England Security Officer, you will play an integral role in ensuring the safety and security of our client's communities, residents, and culture. Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Key Responsibilities
  • Access Control: Verify resident credentials and guests pass at the pool entrance to ensure only authorized individuals enter the facility.
  • Policy Enforcement: Monitor pool activity to ensure all residents and guests adhere to community rules (e.g., no glass containers, diving restrictions, or over-capacity).
  • Safety Rounds: Conduct regular walkthroughs of the pool deck and locker room areas to identify potential safety hazards or maintenance needs.
  • Resident Assistance: Act as a friendly point of contact for residents, providing information and maintaining a welcoming community atmosphere.
  • Facility Maintenance: Keep the pool deck tidy by organizing lounge chairs and ensuring the area is free of debris.
  • Opening/Closing Procedures: Execute the nightly pool lock-up protocol, ensuring all gates are secured, lights are managed, and the facility is vacant at the end of the shift.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Reliability: Since this is a weekend-specific role, consistent attendance is mandatory.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to remain mobile and conduct outdoor patrols throughout the shift, regardless of summer weather conditions.
  • Customer Service Skills: Strong interpersonal skills are required to handle rule enforcement firmly but politely.
  • Experience: Prior experience in security, lifeguarding (not required to swim), or high-end residential concierge services is strongly preferred.
  • Situational Awareness: Keen attention to detail to spot unauthorized entry or safety risks quickly.
