• Respond promptly to trauma alerts, conducting initial assessments to gauge patient conditions accurately.
• Stabilize patients and provide immediate life-saving interventions to prevent deterioration during critical moments.
• Assist with resuscitation efforts, including airway management and emergency procedures in collaboration with the trauma team.
• Effectively coordinate interprofessional care, ensuring all aspects of treatment are attended to seamlessly.
• Conduct thorough physical examinations and interpret diagnostic imaging and laboratory results to formulate care plans.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments while managing care protocols established by supervising physicians.
• Assist in the performance of invasive procedures under supervision, offering support in wound management and trauma stabilization.
• Educate patients and their families about trauma care, recovery processes, and rehabilitation needs.
• Assist in the transfer of patients to appropriate care units or facilities, ensuring a safe and coordinated transition.
• Monitor and manage pain, consistently assessing patient comfort and response to treatments.
• Collaborate with various healthcare professionals to ensure a continuum of care, reinforcing the importance of interdisciplinary communication.
• Follow strict infection control and safety protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.

This role primarily caters to trauma patients who require immediate medical attention for acute injuries or life-threatening conditions. It involves working with diverse patient demographics, from adults to children, each presenting unique challenges and needs. Your contributions will directly impact patient recovery and long-term health outcomes, ensuring that trauma victims receive the best care possible during their critical moments.

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field, with completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• State Licensure as a Physician Assistant in Colorado.
• Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Basic and advanced life support certifications, knowledge of trauma protocols, and experience in an emergency setting.
• Demonstrated strong clinical and diagnostic skills, especially in trauma scenarios.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive in high-pressure environments.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency medicine or trauma care.
• Familiarity with trauma-specific interventions and medications.
• Previous exposure to advanced trauma assessment techniques and patient management methodologies.

Divine HealthCare offers a competitive salary range of USD 140,000 – 180,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
