Job Description:
The Business Development Manager (HPE - SPs & Telcos) for the CCA (Caribbean Central America) organization identifies business expansion opportunities that support the customer sales strategy.
This role grows profitable market share by executing the Business Unit strategy in full alignment with the agreed plan.

What You'll Do:
  • Present solution and service offerings, including TaaS, to key customers.
  • Drive sales across the agreed vendor portfolio, including identifying and onboarding new vendors and leading business development initiatives to optimize results.
  • Lead sales for specific vendors or projects when specialized account knowledge is required.
  • Enable sales teams to win opportunities and grow wallet share and market share.
  • Negotiate successfully and win key tenders and large deals.
  • Build strong vendor and stakeholder relationships so Tech Data is viewed as a trusted advisor.
  • Increase customer loyalty and profitability.
  • Collaborate with FSE and vendor teams.
  • Support the development of direct reports and/or divisional Business Development Executives (BDEs).
  • Maintain full knowledge of the assigned product or service line.
  • Engage with key customers.
  • Partner with vendor operations, sales, and marketing teams.
  • Manage and develop people, where applicable.
  • In smaller markets, take on additional responsibilities such as category management.

What We're Looking For:
  • College degree or equivalent experience providing comparable knowledge and job skills.
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience.
  • B2+ or higher proficiency in English and Spanish required.
  • Relevant experience in products, solutions, and services tailored for Service Providers (SPs) and Telecommunications companies (Telcos).
  • Full knowledge of the assigned product or service line.
  • Developing knowledge of the organization's broader product and service portfolio.
  • Perform and refine sales and service tasks and procedures independently.
  • Build direct customer relationships to expand the customer base and increase sales.
  • Contributions directly affect the success of the work group.
  • Failure to meet goals or customer expectations may prevent the work group from achieving its objectives.

Other Education/Certifications:
  • 5+ years of commercial experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Marketing.
  • Commercial, sales, or technical certifications preferred.

Working Conditions:
  • Remote professional work environment.
  • Occasional non-standard hours or overtime may be required based on business needs.
  • Represent the company to customers and customers to the company in all sales-related activities.
