Role Summary

As McAfee continues to evolve into a consumer-centric business, Technical Program Managers play apivotalrole in driving key Product and Engineering initiativestowardssuccessful launches.ThisTechnicalProgram Managerwill be an important member of ourTechnical Program Management team supportingnewAI-drivenfeatures andproductlaunches.You will report to theSr.Director, Technical Program Management.

This is a Hybrid Position located in Frisco, TX. We are only considering candidates within a commutable distance to the Frisco office. You will be required to be onsite on an as-needed basis; when not working onsite, you will work from your home office.

Position Details About the role:
  • Own and drive key projects from Product portfolio and help release quality products to our consumers.
  • Build AI-driven program intelligence by creating Program management agents using tools like Claude.
  • Replace manual TPM rituals with intelligent, queryable systems and help up-level the entire TPM org.
  • Manage issues and risks, create mitigation plans, elevate to appropriate stakeholders and produce program reports for executive leadership.
  • Own all planning activities and manage critical path dependencies, change management and drive key decisions with stakeholders.
  • Empower the cross-functional team to operate more efficiently by defining processes where needed and removing or improving existing ones that are not working.
  • Interact with engineering, UX, product and business leaders to prioritize and execute on AI based Product, Platform, and Marketing strategy.
  • Customer obsessed mindset with a focus on quality user experience with robust Consumer workflows.
  • Maintain urgency by ensuring there is strong collaboration within multiple parts of the organization who may have competing priorities.
  • Drive accountability and ownership in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience managing programs with geographically dispersed teams.
About you:
  • 10+ years of technical project or program management experience in driving consumer-centric applications with at least 3 years driving product launches for AI-based features and applications.
  • Hands on native AI-TPM using Claude code to build AI applications enhancing the TPM function.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale, complex technical efforts.
  • 5+ years of experience using project/portfolio management tools such as ClickUp, Atlassian JIRA, Confluence, VersionOne, Asana, Monday.com or Smartsheets.
  • Strong technical orientation and solid understanding of Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC).
  • Excellent written and oral business communication and people skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict management skills with the ability to articulate concepts and rationale to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to work through ambiguity to detailed solutions.
  • Experience developing processes where little exists and demonstrated flexibility to get things done with global teams, especially working around time zone challenges.
  • Detail-oriented and able to understand the bigger picture by using your technical expertise and problem-solving abilities to prioritize and manage blocking issues.
  • Focus on execution, follow-through, accountability, and results.
  • Excellent leadership skills, time management, organization and facilitation.
