Job Description
The Sr Mgr, Project/Program Design for MCU Products is responsible for leading customer-facing product programs from proposal through production launch and lifecycle support. This role focuses on strong cross-functional project execution to ensure successful delivery of microcontroller (MCU) products for all relevant markets.
The ideal candidate has experience managing a team of project/program managers, managing semiconductor product programs, coordinating global engineering teams, driving execution against aggressive timelines, and serving as the primary escalation point for customer and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Project Execution & Delivery
  • Own end-to-end execution of MCU product programs across silicon, software, systems, validation, manufacturing, and quality teams.
  • Build and maintain integrated program schedules with clear milestones, dependencies, and critical paths.
  • Drive execution readiness for silicon bring-up, software releases, validation, qualification, and production launch.
  • Track program KPIs including schedule, cost, quality, risk, and resource utilization.
  • Identify execution risks proactively and lead mitigation and recovery plans.
  • Coordinate global cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, product marketing, applications, quality, and supply chain.
  • Ensure alignment between customer commitments and internal execution capabilities.

Qualifications
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in semiconductor, embedded systems, automotive electronics, or related industries.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical program management, customer program management, or project execution roles.
  • Experience managing complex MCU or SoC product development programs.
  • Strong understanding of embedded systems, software development lifecycles, and semiconductor product development.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional global teams and customer relationships.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies.
