Job description

Description: Community Consolidated School District 89 is seeking Lunchroom Supervisors for each of our schools (4 elementary and 1 middle school), for the 2026-2027 school year.  This position requires 1-1.25 hours a day during days at the Elementary School Level and 2.25 hours at the Middle School where lunches are served.  There are 169 days a year that lunchroom supervisors are needed.
Responsibilities:
1. Instruct, maintain and enforce all lunchroom rules, regulations and procedures.
2. Report serious safety or discipline problems to the Principal and/or Assistant Principal.
3. Maintain inventory of all recreational equipment.
4. Plan and maintain appropriate procedure to move students from lunch to recreation areas and from recreation areas to lunch areas.
5. Plan and maintain appropriate procedure to lunch/recreation dismissal.
Employment Expectations:  It is the vision or aim of CCSD 89 that all our students learn to the best of their abilities, have strong feelings of self-worth, and enjoy attending school each day. All district 89 employees are expected to maintain high standards in their school relationships, to demonstrate integrity and honesty, to be considerate and cooperative, and to maintain professional relationships with students, parents, staff members and others.
Salary:  $18.00 per hour
