Job description

Pharmacist

The Pharmacist is responsible for providing the clinical judgment, professional knowledge, and distribution skills in the Pharmacy Department to assure that patients receive pharmaceutical care which is consistent with the mission of the department and the hospital. The Pharmacist identifies, resolves, and prevents drug-related problems. These activities are performed within the context of established policies, procedures and techniques of Enloe Medical Center, the Enloe Medical Center Pharmacy, and federal and state standards and regulations. Minimum: Current license as a Registered Pharmacist in good standing by the State of California One year of hospital experience in an inpatient, decentralized setting Computer experience with pharmacy programs and with Windows Demonstrated application of drug knowledge and clinical judgment
