As the Distribution Supervisor at nVent in Dayton, MN, you'll lead a diverse team supporting inbound operations across multiple shifts. This is an outstanding opportunity to work with a world-class organization in an environment where innovation meets excellence.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS ROLE:
  • Operations Leadership You will lead the day-to-day inbound operations, driving continuous improvement initiatives that significantly increase productivity and efficiency. You'll take a strategic approach to planning-daily, weekly, and monthly-prioritizing work, setting clear timelines, and allocating resources to successfully deliver departmental goals.

    People Leadership You will lead and empower a high-performing warehouse team in a fast-paced distribution environment. Through visible leadership on the floor, you'll foster a positive and productive work culture while developing team members through effective training, coaching, performance feedback, and consistent support-motivating employees to meet and exceed performance targets.

YOU HAVE:
  • Ideally, 3 years of experience leading teams in a fast-paced distribution environment.

  • Bachelor's degree or experience in a related field preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of distribution processes, lean manufacturing/continuous improvement principles, ERP/WMS systems, handheld devices, and freight carriers

  • Abilities to meet the physical and environmental demands: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Frequent standing and occasional climbing, kneeling, crouching/stooping. Full use of upper extremities in the manipulation of materials used in the production processes. Warehouse is not temperature controlled.

Pay Transparency
nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range:

$62,900.00 - $116,900.00

Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
