Overview
Our Sales and Distribution Leader will have full P&L responsibility for our Wilsonart Company Owned Distribution Location (Metro) in Phoenix. This role will also have responsibility for translating corporate strategy into actionable objectives to deliver on growth, operational excellence, and profitability. Successful candidates will build and maintain a robust growth pipeline, ensuring the location has the capability and capacity to meet demand. Lastly this role will have direct responsibility for customer-facing reports as well as site-level operations, office management, and logistics functions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead and inspire cross-functional teams, including Specification Representatives, Sales Representatives (Demand Creation), Operations, Customer Service, Warehouse Staff, and Drivers (Demand Fulfillment).
  • Full P&L ownership and leadership for location
  • Deliver annual revenue and EBITDA targets across assigned market.
  • Set and hold teams accountable for achieving performance objectives.
  • Drive growth agenda: project tracking, marketing execution, and sales alignment.
  • Build a demand pipeline through target projects, strategic accounts, and erosion recapture initiatives.
  • Expand customer base and implement regional sales and marketing programs tailored to market conditions.
  • Balance customer satisfaction with enterprise-wide interests and profitability goals.
  • Host customer events and presentations.
  • Establish and oversee operational KPIs including inventory accuracy, receivables, labor utilization, and overtime.
  • Ensure safety, security, and regulatory compliance.
  • Talent Management: Develop local leadership, build bench strength, and address performance gaps. Responsible for hiring, onboarding, and developing team members.

  • Experience in the building materials industry is a plus.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Physical Requirements: Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods; occasional lifting of materials (10-20 lbs).
Environment: Primarily office and warehouse environments; travel required between sites.
