In this high-impact role, you will develop and execute account strategies that expand INFICON's presence, strengthen customer partnerships, and accelerate adoption of industry-leading instrumentation, sensor technologies, software solutions, and vacuum process technologies.

Job Description

Partnering closely with customers, Business Units, Segment Leadership, and Strategic Account teams, you will serve as a trusted advisor to some of the semiconductor industry's most important organizations. Leveraging deep technical expertise in semiconductor manufacturing processes, vacuum technology, and advanced process control, you will help customers improve operational performance, product quality, and manufacturing efficiency while supporting INFICON's long-term growth objectives.

This is an opportunity to make a visible impact within an innovation-driven organization where technology leadership, customer success, and strategic account development are critical drivers of growth and competitive advantage.

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales goals and market expansion within assigned accounts.

  • Identify growth opportunities for INFICON's product portfolio, which includes FDC and Industrial Engineering Software solutions, gauges, Smart Sensors, Leak Detection and ALD coating solutions.

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships by addressing the specific needs of semiconductor Semi End User and/or OEM accounts.

  • Provide technical guidance and expertise on the application of INFICON products to meet customer requirements.

  • Manage comprehensive account activities, including preparing quotes, negotiating sales contracts, submitting forecasts, and creating key account plans and monthly reports.

  • Provide valuable feedback to Business Units regarding product introduction strategies, market trends, competitive analysis, and application requirements.

  • Support pricing adjustments, product recommendations, and updates to sales policies.

  • Collaborate with the Segment Manager and Strategic Account Director to input annual sales goals and refine strategic objectives for the sales territory.

  • Contribute to the development and execution of territory-specific sales and marketing plans.

  • Represent INFICON at trade shows, participate in strategic industry committees, and support customer and market engagement activities.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline.

  • Required Experience

  • 5+ years of account management, technical sales, business development, or strategic customer-facing experience.

  • Extensive technical expertise in semiconductor manufacturing processes, with a strong understanding of vacuum physics and related applications.

  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth, account management, and business development within the semiconductor industry.

  • Demonstrated ability to present complex technical solutions to a variety of audiences.

  • Strong negotiation, communication, organizational, and relationship-management skills.

  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory to support customer engagement and business growth.
