Job description

ROLE SUMMARY
The Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing the supply chain and purchasing distribution process, as well as managing the inventory of equipment and medical supplies stored within the distribution warehouse. The Logistics Manager will evaluate product forecasts, sales force forecasts, competitive information, and market conditions. This individual will also identify trends, issues and opportunities for process improvement and efficiencies. The Logistics Manager will report to the EMS Director.
This is a Non-Exempt/Hourly position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Specific Duties:
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure efficient and effective supply chain management.
  • Manage and coordinate the purchasing, inventory, and distribution of equipment and medical supplies.
  • Monitor and analyze inventory levels to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
  • Identify and resolve supply chain issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Manage and develop a team of logistics professionals.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory control
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver's license

Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
