To thrive in a Distribution Center role, you need strong organizational skills, attention to detail, physical stamina, and often a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanners, forklifts, and inventory software is commonly required. Effective communication, strong teamwork, and proper training are key to overcoming these obstacles. Many distribution centers also implement ergonomic practices and provide regular breaks to support employee well-being.
