JOB DETAILS
POSITION SUMMARY:
Performs accurately and timely all functions associated with ticketing, sort, packing and material handler. These functions are to be executed in a consistent manner by using established procedures, tools and equipment to achieve expectations and company goals. May be required to perform other processing functions or assist in other departments as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
Ticketing
  1. The ticketing procedure includes verifying merchandise by style, color, size and scanning
  2. Tickets merchandise in accordance with Bealls Ticketing Guidelines

Sorter
  1. The sorter procedure is to sort the merchandise according to the style, color, and size
  2. Reviews document and indicates the number of tubs and the number of sorts
  3. Accurately counts the merchandise and fill out the documents indicating the quantity of pieces

Packing
  1. The packing procedure is to pack the required units into the correct store location
  2. Ensures carton or tote is full, applies store label, tapes carton lids, and places onto takeaway conveyor
  3. Packs merchandise carefully into the totes, cartons or containers to prevent damage

Material Handler
  1. The material handler position distributes merchandise, replenishes needed supplies, as well as maintains cleanliness in the assigned area
  2. Collects empty totes and pallets and return them to designated location
  3. Builds boxes and ensure they are available at all times for packing

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  1. Must have adequate vision, speech, hearing, and physical ability to perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodations
  2. Must have full body rotation and mobility (i.e., bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, reaching overhead, pushing, pulling, kneeling, grasping etc.)
  3. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. when necessary to handle/move cartons of merchandise
  4. Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  5. Must be able to use stairs to complete essential functions where the department is located
  6. Must be able to work flexible hours and adapt to changing work requirements
  7. Must have good awareness of surroundings

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
  1. Must be able to demonstrate equipment proficiency within the training period. This includes but is not limited to: record daily production by scanning or manual entry of numbers in the computer, use of pallet jack and other equipment to perform essential functions of the job
  2. Must be able to work flexible hours and adapt to changing work environment
  3. Time management and problem-solving skills
  4. Accurately complete simple math tasks such as counting and adding
  5. Must be able to handle cleaning equipment (broom, mop, duster, etc.) used for maintaining cleanliness

DEBERES Y RESPONSABILIDADES ESENCIALES:
Ticketing

Manipulador de materiales
  1. La posición del manipulador de materiales distribuye la mercancía, repone los suministros necesarios y mantiene la limpieza en el área asignada
  2. Recoge los contenedores y palés vacíos y los devuelve a la ubicación designada
  3. Construye cajas y se asegura de que estén disponibles en todo momento para empacar

EXIGENCIAS FÍSICAS:
