Job description

Distribution Center Supervisor
Location: Fuquay Varina, NC (primary) & Angier, NC (cross-training)
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8AM-4:30PM
We are seeking a hands-on Distribution Center Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations while actively working alongside the team. This role oversees receiving, shipping, inventory, and overall facility performance, ensuring operations run safely, efficiently, and accurately.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control
-Monitor workflow and adjust labor to maintain productivity
- Supervise, train, and coach a small warehouse team
- Assist with scheduling, onboarding, and workforce planning
- Enforce safety policies and OSHA standards
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
- Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Communicate daily priorities and expectations to the team
- Track and report on key metrics such as productivity and accuracy
Requirements:
- 3+ years of warehouse or distribution experience
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory processes
- Forklift license
Preferences:
- Associate's degree in a relevant field
- Experience with ERP systems
- Experience with international shipping
