Job Summary
The role will involve integrating various technologies such as warehouse management and transportation management systems and physical equipment used for optimized pick, pack and internal transport needed to run a modern distribution system.
Job Location

Job Responsibilities
  • Design and implement advanced handling solutions that optimize material flow
  • Design and implement solutions that result in optimal pick and pack operations
  • Design and implement warehouse layout solutions in support of enhanced product storage and retrieval
  • Design and implement warehouse management solutions for tracking inventory and vehicular assets
  • Understand efficient warehouse design and layout in support of truck loading operations
  • Understand Item Master management in support of technology solutions
  • Experience with LTL and FTL operations and network design
  • Ensure technology solutions integrate seamlessly with Warehouse and Transportation Management systems
  • Ensure technology solutions reduce costs and optimize performance
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses to determine most cost-effective technology solutions
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and advancement in logistics technology
  • Develop Requests for Proposal in support of technology project bids
  • Oversee training of personnel in support of technology project implementations

Job Requirements
  • Strong commitment to safety and operational efficiency
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or any technology related field
  • 5+ years of experience in multi-SKU warehouse management
  • Experience with technology solutions such as warehouse management systems
  • Experience with LTL and FTL operations
  • Strong understanding of warehouse procedures and inventory management
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Understanding or certification in APICS, CLTD, and Six Sigma is a plus
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
