Job Description

The Field Technician helper is essential to meeting customer expectations, some of which are (but not limited to): quality, performance, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness. The Field Technician will be a high energy individual that is responsible for quickly learning the trade, delivering quality craftsmanship, and being reliable in word and deed. The role will also be highly visible to CoServe's end-customer, so professionalism and appearance is critical. The ideal candidate will possess great degree of willingness to learn, reliability, and an aptitude for technical hands-on labor.

The ideal candidate will have legitimate experience with Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) and desires to build a career in the industry.  

Responsibilities Include:

  • Help Lead Technician to install coaxial and fiber-optic cabling, connectors, antennas, remotes and couplers in accordance with customer requirements and industry standards.
  • Installs active components in accordance with manufacturer's guidelines and industry best-practices.
  • Attends safety/hazard training as required and always considers safety factors at a jobsite.
  • Anticipates and informs leadership of potential problems; communicates freely.
  • Reports daily, weekly, or as required on pertinent information to the project.
  • Secures company materials and tools to prevent theft or loss.
  • Is on time at the correct location.
  • Takes initiative and assists as needed, based on a given situation.


Qualifications

Hard Skills Include:

  • Technical degree preferred
  • Microsoft Office skills required
  • Construction environment experience preferred
  • 3 years of Installation experience in IT, Cable, Electrical, RF and/or Telecommunications fields.
  • Knowledge of the terminology used in the in-building Distributed Antenna System (DAS) Industry
  • Demonstrated ability to use basic hand and power tools needed for installation projects
