Core Responsibilities
  • Install, terminate, test, and label CAT5e/CAT6/CAT6A cabling
  • Perform cable pathway work (conduit, J-hooks, cable trays)
  • Install network equipment including racks, patch panels, and switches
  • Read and interpret site drawings and scope of work
  • Test and certify cabling using industry-standard tools
  • Troubleshoot connectivity and physical layer issues
  • Document work performed (photos, labeling, reporting)
  • Maintain clean and organized job sites
  • Perform work in both commercial and occupied residential environments while maintaining a high level of professionalism and care for the customer's space
  • Company vehicle access, project tools, and travel accommodations are provided as applicable to the role and project requirements.

Required Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Must be able to successfully complete a background screening and drug test, as required for access to customer facilities and residential environments.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work at heights
  • Willingness to travel and work overtime as needed
  • Ability to work professionally in occupied environments (homes or active businesses), including strong communication and respect for customer property

Preferred Qualifications
  • BICSI certification
  • Experience with structured cabling, electrical work, security systems, AV installations, construction, or related hands-on technical work preferred.
  • Commercial job site experience
  • Residential job site experience (working in occupied homes, customer-facing environments, or high-touch installations)
  • Basic networking knowledge
