Join our Animal Health team, where you'll combine your Registered Veterinary Technician expertise with cutting-edge pharmacy operations to support one of Western Canada's most progressive cattle health teams. Working alongside veterinarians, other RVTs, field technicians, and producers, you'll be part of a supportive culture dedicated to meaningful work that directly impacts livestock health and agricultural sustainability. You'll have access to innovative digital health platforms and mentorship opportunities as you grow your career in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

What you'll do

  • Oversee and manage the pharmaceutical website for client prescriptions, dispensing, and annual prescription renewals
  • Lead warehouse operations including picking, packing, and shipping pharmaceutical products with accuracy and efficiency
  • Perform clinical procedures and support veterinarians on animal health initiatives
  • Manage inventory systems, monitoring short-dated and expired products to ensure quality control
  • Coordinate pharmaceutical transfers between clinic locations and deliver products to clients as required
  • Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, educating clients, and addressing questions and concerns over the phone and in person
  • Use internal accounting systems and digital health platforms to manage daily operations and maintain detailed records

What you bring

  • Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license from ABVMA or other provincial veterinary association
  • Veterinary Technologist or Animal Health Technologist Diploma from an accredited school with active path to obtaining license
  • Proficiency with computer systems including MS Excel, MS Word, and Google Suites
  • Basic understanding of feedlot, cow/calf, and dairy production systems
  • Strong customer service skills with ability to communicate effectively with clients and producers
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure
  • Physical capability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds in a warehouse environment
  • Ability to prioritize and work both independently and as part of a team
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license and comfort with daily short to medium-distance travel

Benefits & Work Environment

This full-time position offers competitive salary, paid ABVMA dues, paid continuing education (CE) allowance, comprehensive health benefits, pension, and training including forklift certification. Regular hours are 8:30am-4:30pm, Monday to Friday, with a paid lunch break. Some flexibility may be needed to meet client priorities.
