Job description

The Routing / Dispatcher works with administrative staff to coordinate in home deliveries. This is a full time position located in Livermore, California. The Routing / Dispatcher is responsible for:

· Daily Routing

o Routing 18 to 25 Trucks in the San Francisco Greater Bay Area region

o Routing is done on Client’s Proprietary Software System

Dispatching

· Working with Customers:

o Communicating with customers in regards to deliveries and delivery issues

o Making calls and Answering incoming calls

· Working with Delivery Contractors:

o Trouble shooting delivery related issues

o Assisting with daily managing of Independent Contractors

o Assisting if trucks are having mechanical issues

o Confirming availability for teams for the following day and the week

· Working with the Client:

o Work with salespersons and store managers in regards to customers deliveries

o Work with warehouse management and staff

o Monitor emails throughout the day for delivery related requests or issues.

Availability

This position requires full time availability any day of the week.

The scheduled shift is 12pm -9 pmf or this Days are Friday thru Tuesday.  Position is Evening/Closing Shift but this may change so being flexible is preferred.

Overtime work may be needed if a truck runs behind.
