Job description

Superior Oilfield is looking to hire an Oilfield Dispatcher to join our team. This role involves coordinating scheduling, resource allocation, and communication for oilfield rig moving operations. The position requires shift work including nights and weekends, with on-call availability. No travel beyond the office required for this role. Dispatchers are on a 8-6 shift with Wednesdays being a cross over day. Hourly rate is based on experience with an on call rate for whomever has the phones at night. Dispatchers are required to answer the phones 24/7 while on shift.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and allocate resources efficiently to support oilfield rig moves
  • Maintain clear communication between field personnel and management
  • Document all dispatch activities accurately and promptly
  • Coordinate with customers to meet their service requirements
  • Respond effectively to emergencies and urgent dispatch needs
  • Plan and optimize routing for field teams and equipment
  • Enter and manage dispatch data to ensure accuracy and availability using outlook calendar
