Job description

The Service Coordinator is responsible for being one of the primary contacts/liaisons between the Strictly Mechanical service department, construction department, and the customer. This person would be responsible for coordinating the service technicians daily schedule based upon the appointments in Acumatica. The Service Coordinator must have impeccable customer service skills and know how to effectively communicate with other departments and customers.

Qualified candidates will have:

· A High School diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED).

· 3 – 5 years of customer service experience (REQUIRED).

· 2 – 4 years of dispatching experience (REQUIRED).

· 2 – 4 years of coordinating employee's schedules (REQUIRED).

· Previous experience working in HVAC is highly desirable, but not required.

· Experience working with the accounting software Acumatica ERP is a bonus.

The following are some of the duties which may be required of you as a Service Coordinator. Duties are assigned based on the requirements of the job and not all may be applicable.

· Keep an organized schedule daily indicating where the service technicians are scheduled to go.

· Dispatch technicians to new jobs once he or she has completed the job they're currently working on.

· Take phone calls from technicians and redirect their calls to the appropriate person.

· Answer all incoming calls for the service department and redirect those calls to the appropriate person.

· Effectively communicate with the construction department to schedule service technicians to work on jobsites.

· Receive and process service department paperwork that is applicable to the service coordinator role.

· Create appointments in Acumatica, create purchase orders, and process purchase order markups on a needed basis as directed by the service manager.

Applicants must also be comfortable working on a computer for prolong periods as well as navigating each department at our main office.
