CMC Electric, LLC in Clayton, NC is looking to hire a full-time Dispatcher / Scheduler to maintain our service technicians' daily schedules and dispatch them as service calls are completed. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DISPATCHER / SCHEDULER

As a Dispatcher / Scheduler, you are critical to the success of our business. As our scheduler, you maintain our employees' daily schedules and dispatch technicians as service calls are completed. You also maintain the on-call schedule for our service technicians and update our customer database with current information. When our technicians have finished a project, you meet with them to record accurate project results. When parts come in, you schedule return trips with our customers to get them installed. Using your customer service skills and friendly demeanor, you handle any concerns, questions, or complaints, in a professional manner.

As you answer incoming calls, you prioritize the most urgent calls and then dispatch techs. Ensuring a quality customer experience, you relay detailed and accurate information to technicians as well as update customers throughout the day. Using your communication skills, you provide clear and concise information to department managers, employees, and customers. You find this job fun and challenging and enjoy helping our customers in any way you can!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A DISPATCHER / SCHEDULER

  • Experience with dispatching in the trade industry
  • Experience with managing multiple field technicians' schedules

Service Titan experience is preferred but not required. Do you have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal? Can you appropriately delegate tasks and follow through to ensure good results? Do you present yourself professionally? Can you easily establish a good rapport with people?
