About the position:

Pacific Aviation is looking for a Flight Operations Manager to support and mentor our team.

Flight Operations

  • Directs and coordinates through Flight Dispatcher's and subordinate personnel, flight operation and control activities

of regional stations.

Qualifications

Experience required

  • Experience of Five years in Flight Operations
  • FAA Flight Dispatch License
  • Knowledge of SITA/ARINC/LIDO/JEPPESEN/SABER communication/ flight planning software preferred
  • Per carrier assignment, training required in CFR 14 PART 121, 129,135, CFR 14 PART 120, CFR 49 PART 40
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory agencies/ Airports
  • Capable to perform aircraft performance
Requirements

  • Available to work, rotating shifts, holidays and weekends
  • Responsible for the safety of the flights
  • Over-see preparation/filing of computerized Flight and ATC plans for International; Trans-Pacific/ Atlantic Flights
  • Provide full weather/ operational briefing to flight crews, analyze weather NOTAMS and ATC data to ensure safe operations and compliance with Airline SOP's
  • Oversee and manage Flight Operations and Weight & Balance departments
  • Liaise with Upper Management, Clients, Vendors, Airport and Government Authorities to ensure station activities are in compliance with Federal, State, Company and Airline regulations
  • Manage and develop personnel (Flight Dispatch and Weight & Balance) to maximize operational performance in areas of on-time performance, staffing, training and safety
  • Administrative duties include preparation of staff work schedules to obtain optimum utilization of human resources and facilities
  • Prepare and submit reports pertaining to flight operations, payroll and Client billing
  • Operate within the budget
