Monaco Ford is seeking a friendly, professional, reliable, and driven person to join our team as an Appointment Coordinator / Mobile Service Coordinator for the Service Department.

Responsibilities

To be successful in this role, the right candidate must have excellent phone communication skills as well as customer service skills, must be computer savvy, must be able to process information quickly, and be receptive to ongoing training and other miscellaneous tasks as requested. Key responsibilities include:

  • Greet customers and assist them with any inquiries they may have

  • Answer inbound calls for Service Department and dispatch calls as necessary

  • Assist customers over the phone and in person in scheduling service needs, being sure to capture all needed information

  • Place outbound calls to follow up on voicemails received

  • Place outbound calls to confirm future appointments

  • Review schedule for clarity and confirmation daily

  • Follow up on appointments booked via our website

  • Assist in scheduling pick up and deliveries of customer vehicles as needed

  • Inspect and check in new vehicles as they are delivered from the factory

  • Some minor cashiering as needed 

  • Train and assist our existing Mobile Service Coordinator
  • Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries, whether phone or in person, to ensure the customer does not get mishandled

  • Spend quality time building relationships with the customers

  • Know the product well enough to answer characteristic and operational questions regarding the customer’s vehicle

  • Additional miscellaneous duties as needed

Qualifications

  • 2 years + customer service experience, auto and service, preferred

  • Customer skills

  • DMS experience preferred

  • High school degree or equivalent

  • Valid Driver's License and clean driving record

  • Willing and able to pass pre-employment testing, such as a background check, MVR check, and drug testing.
