Wilhelmsen Ships Service is seeking a Dispatch Coordinator in our Pasadena office.

This role is to ensure that all goodspresentedby the Warehouse Department are delivered by the drivers at the correctaddress within the time limits set, in appropriate condition and together with the correct documentsand appropriate cost.

To be successful in this position, you will need to be flexible, a team player, and need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Main responsibilities

  • Update all ETA's through consistent monitoring with agents

  • Scheduledrivers

  • Monitor the efficiency of the dispatch operations and driver utilization

  • Ensure that transport is done in an efficient and cost effective way in line with demand

  • Ensure compliance to allrules and regulations

  • Responsible for correct document flow, reporting and tracking

  • Report and takeaction to ensureprofessionaland timelydeliveries

  • Keepdelivery trucksmaintained to appropriate standards, rules and regulations, including placard, certificates, etc.
