With decades of expertise, our pump division delivers comprehensive solutions from design to on-site installation, system monitoring to dismantle and demobilization and manufactures over 50% of our products in-house.
The Central Dispatcher plays a key role in supporting service operations by coordinating the efficient scheduling and dispatching of field technicians, managing service requests, and ensuring seamless communication between customers, the service team, and management. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational and communication skills who can adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Functions
  • Receive, prioritize, and schedule service calls to maximize efficiency and meet customer needs.
  • Dispatch technicians to job sites based on workload, location, and skill set.
  • Maintain clear communication with field technicians, service advisors, and the Service Manager throughout the day.
  • Track the progress of service calls and update customers on job status when necessary.
  • Enter and update service orders in company systems with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Monitor technician availability and manage schedule adjustments in response to urgent calls or changing conditions.
  • Ensure all required documentation is collected, organized, and submitted in a timely manner.
  • Assist with parts coordination when needed to ensure jobs are completed efficiently.

Required Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in dispatching, scheduling, or customer service in a service-related industry preferred.

  • Familiarity with pump systems, fluid transfer solutions, heavy equipment, or related industries is a plus.

Supervisory Responsibilities
  • This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities but requires daily coordination with technicians and collaboration with the Service Manager.

Work Environment
  • Primarily based in a front desk or customer service office setting.
  • Climate-controlled workspace equipped with standard office tools (computers, phones, CRM systems).
  • Frequent interaction with customers, vendors, and internal staff both in person and through phone/email.
  • Regular visits to the adjacent repair shop and outdoor equipment yard to coordinate with technicians or support customer needs.
  • Occasional exposure to moderate noise, dust, grease, and heavy machinery during shop or yard visits.
  • Outdoor yard visits may involve exposure to seasonal weather conditions such as heat, cold, rain, or wind.
  • Uneven terrain and moving equipment in shop/yard areas require proper footwear and attention to safety.
  • Must be comfortable transitioning between a professional office setting and a more physically active, industrial environment.
  • Requires strong communication, multitasking, and coordination skills across departments.
  • Adaptability and situational awareness are key in navigating between administrative and operational responsibilities.
