Job description

Overview

Dispatch Coordinator

The primary role of the Dispatch Coordinator is to oversee the dispatching of one or more of Roto-Rooter Service Company branch locations.  You will be responsible for ensuring jobs are dispatched to service technicians in multiple branches.  Additional job duties will includes overseeing subordinate dispatch personnel in performing daily dispatch procedures and responsibilities.

The hourly pay range is $25.96-$27.40 ($54,000-$57,000), depending on experience with opportunity for overtime pay.

Responsibilities
  • Create a collaborative team environment that prioritizes and boost employee morale.
  • Complete reporting on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Monitor the dispatch team performance.
  • Improve the quality of service to our customers and reduce lost opportunities.
  • Use creative thinking to improve dispatch processes.
  • Handle complaint resolution.
  • Responsible for dispatch procedure improvements that will enhance dispatch efficiencies and increase sales and job count for the branches.
  • Ensure the compliance with company initiatives, including proper job distribution.
  • Problem solving with branch and call center personnel.
  • Create daily lunch schedules.
  • Report to Evening Dispatch Operations Manager.
Requirements
  • Minimum requirement is a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills in client and team interactions.
  • Must be flexible in work hours and able to work overtime as needed.
  • Demonstrating prior supervisory experience is a requirement for this position.
  • Candidate must possess the ability to create an upbeat, motivating environment.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced, team environment.
