What is a dispatch agent?

Dispatch agents are professionals responsible for coordinating and managing the movement of vehicles, personnel, or shipments. They communicate with drivers or field workers, assign tasks or routes, track progress, and respond to emergencies or changes in schedules. Dispatch agents often use specialized software to optimize routes and ensure timely and efficient service.
