Job description

Health First - Central Florida's Premier Integrated Health System

We are seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible Uro Hospitalist to join our expanding urology program and provide high-quality inpatient urologic care across our hospitals in Brevard County. This is an outstanding opportunity to work within a collaborative, physician-led environment while enjoying an exceptional coastal lifestyle just minutes from the beach, Kennedy Space Center, Port Canaveral, and Orlando.

Position Highlights

  • Provide inpatient urology call coverage across Health First hospitals in Brevard County

  • Manage inpatient urology consults in collaboration with our established hospitalist and specialty teams

  • Perform inpatient urologic procedures and bedside interventions

  • Conduct daily rounds on admitted urology patients

  • Coordinate care with clinic-based urologists to ensure continuity of care and outpatient follow-up

  • Practice within a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary healthcare system

  • Enjoy a balanced schedule designed to support both professional satisfaction and quality of life

Schedule

  • Week-on / week-off schedule

  • Tuesday through Tuesday rotation

  • Daytime coverage: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

  • Night call coverage: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM during scheduled service week

  • Predictable schedule allowing for excellent work-life balance

Procedures & Case Types

The Uro Hospitalist will manage a broad range of inpatient urologic procedures and consultations, including:

  • Ureteroscopy

  • Cystoscopy with lithotripsy laser

  • Ureteral stent placement and management

  • Catheter placement and management

  • Retrograde pyelogram

  • General inpatient urologic consultations and interventions
