Job description

KLQ Quality Coatings LLC is a family-owned and operated painting company based in Auburndale, FL. We are looking for a reliable, skilled Professional Painter to join our crew. We take pride in our "Quality" name, performing high-end residential work and consistent commercial projects at Walt Disney World and across Central Florida (Orlando, Lakeland, Winter Haven).

This is a W-2 position for a craftsman who knows their trade, values safety, and shows up on time every day.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • High-Standard Prep: Extensive masking, sanding, caulking, and surface preparation. We don't cut corners on prep.
  • Professional Application: Expert brush and roll work, along with airless and HVLP spray applications.
  • Specialty Finishes: Working on a variety of surfaces ranging from high-end residential interiors to commercial resort facilities.
  • Team Collaboration: Participating in our Monday Morning Safety Huddles and working alongside a tight-knit team to meet deadlines.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of professional painting experience. You should be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Transportation: Must have a reliable vehicle to get to job sites in Auburndale, Lakeland, and the Disney/Kissimmee area.
  • Professionalism: Punctuality is a must. You must be able to pass background checks for access to major resort properties.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to climb ladders, work in the Florida heat, and lift up to 50 lbs.
