The Disney Signature Experiences and Data team delivers innovative technology solutions across Disney Cruise Line, Disney Vacation Club, Storyliving by Disney and our global tour businesses. We support Guest and Cast experiences, enable commercial growth through digital platforms, and lead the segment's data strategy. With a strong focus on reliability, scalability, and strategic expansion, we build the systems that support immersive experiences and unlock new opportunities for growth.

Storyliving by Disney - This role is on the Storyliving by Disney technology team, which delivers Guest and Cast systems, commercial platforms, web and app experiences, and infrastructure operations that support new home communities with the Disney touch.

What You Will Do:

This role will serve as a key leader of the product team responsible for programs within the Emerging Business team. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Product Management your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading a team of product managers responsible for defining the product strategy and delivery of Storyliving by Disney Commercial and Resident/Club initiatives, owning the vision, defining value, creating outcome-based roadmaps, developing requirements and executing capabilities that drive business value.
  • Leading external vendor teams to deliver products.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with technology and business leaders to establish commercial strategies using technology to drive the business.
  • Proactively monitor performance and risks, escalating issues as needed to protect delivery outcomes and maximize business value.
  • Providing product and scorecard updates to business and technology leadership.
  • Serve as part of squad on larger projects, assisting with their successful completion.
  • Serve as a business facing contact for cross-functional partners on the Storyliving by Disney business.
  • Collaborate with other Disney Experiences Technology teams to ensure alignment with product standards.
  • Stay abreast of the latest technology trends to find strategic opportunities to use innovation to solve business problems.
  • Maintain financial ownership throughout the year to ensure forecasts are accurate and actuals are on-target and provide input on Capital and Expense Long Term Plans (LTP) and Annual Operating Plans (AOP).

It is key for this leader to have a holistic understanding of how to use product management models and technology to create an exceptional guest experience, support business operations and optimize Cast in a financially constrained and rapidly changing environment.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • 8+ years combined business and digital/tech experience; previous management experience a plus
  • Leader of a team being able to set a clear vision and drive accountability to meet their goals
  • Served as the lead on medium to large digital and technology projects, including evaluating and improving estimates, scope, and plans
  • Experience with technical, user and business issues in a digital organization
  • Experience working collaboratively across large matrixed organizations
  • Experience collaborating with and achieving applicable results through others with the capability to interact across all levels
  • Demonstrated proficiency in strategy development and day-to-day operations aligning with business priorities bringing the concepts to reality
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with proven experience driving alignment across multiple stakeholders and mediums
  • Proven experience creating data-driven strategies utilizing analytics, consumer insights and the latest business and market trends
  • Ability to identify and articulate the impact of the latest industry trends on our business
  • Ability to coach, mentor, educate, and handle conflict management/negotiations
  • Experience with Agile software development methodology
  • Experience with AI tools to drive productivity and innovation

  • Experience evaluating emerging technology solutions and companies for fit and viability against use cases
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, proactive thinker with the ability to thrive in an often ambiguous, fast paced environment
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization
  • Working knowledge of markets, products, and competitive landscape (including ability to predict and explain current/future trends), and the ability to translate (both verbally and in writing) technologies into business value
  • Strong analytical and financial skills
  • Leader with the ability to lead diverse and cross-functional teams in a meaningful way to produce quality results
  • Understanding of the latest product management frameworks and theories and how to apply them to create impactful experiences.
  • Understanding of current Disney Experience capabilities as it relates to converging technology seamlessly into the Guest experience.
  • Out-of-the-box thinking with the ability to broker creative solutions with internal and external teams to overcome roadblocks and move projects forward

Required Education:

Bachelor's degree

The hiring range for this position in Orlando, FL is $163,400.00-$219,100.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
