Overview

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Senior UX/UI Designer to lead design initiatives and strategy for our digital products. In this role, you will develop UX approaches aligned with business goals, contribute to user research efforts, and help shape design frameworks that drive innovation. You will lead design initiatives, drive cross-functional projects, and advocate user-centered design principles to create exceptional product experiences that elevate customer satisfaction and deliver sustained user value.

Responsibilities
  • Strategy & Leadership: Develop strategic UX/UI vision while delivering practical design solutions that directly support business objectives and product goals
  • Lead design-thinking workshops to address complex user experience challenges
  • Define and maintain design principles, guidelines, and patterns for consistency across all products
  • Provide mentorship and constructive feedback to enhance team performance and collaboration
  • Research & Innovation: Direct user research initiatives to identify user needs, behaviors, and market opportunities
  • Translate insights from research into actionable design strategies and innovative solutions
  • Stay updated on emerging design trends and technologies to suggest product improvements
  • Develop forward-thinking design concepts that differentiate our products in the market
  • Establish UX metrics and frameworks to continuously evaluate and improve designs
  • Design Direction: Oversee the creation of wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
  • Review and provide critical feedback on design work to ensure quality and consistency
  • Make high-level design decisions that balance user needs, technical constraints, and business goals
  • Define interaction models and design patterns that can scale across multiple products
  • Ensure brand consistency and cohesiveness across all digital touchpoints
  • Collaboration & Documentation: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders
  • Communicate design decisions and rationale effectively
  • Create and maintain design documentation, style guides, and pattern libraries
  • Contribute to TP-Link's design system and component library
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of experience in product design or UX/UI design
  • Experience leading user research initiatives and implementing insights into product strategy
  • Excellence in communication and presentation skills, particularly with executive stakeholders
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking, design leadership, and problem-solving abilities (include a viewable link with access instructions in your application)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience designing for networking products, consumer electronics and smart home ecosystems
  • Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles
  • Knowledge of advanced research methodologies and analytics
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience with animation and interaction design
