Job Description
We are in search of a Chemical Specialist to join our growing team. This role will support ProWash Systems customers across the Food Service, Laundry, and Food Processing industries by providing expert technical service, equipment installation, and customer training. This role ensures safe, reliable, and effective chemical and dispensing systems are in place to meet customer needs while maintaining compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
The Chemical Specialist collaborates closely with sales and service teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences, promote product and system solutions, and proactively identify opportunities to improve cleaning performance and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Install, maintain, and repair dispensing systems and commercial dish machines.
  • Perform skilled mechanical and electrical work to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
  • Follow specifications, schematics, and manuals using appropriate tools and testing instruments.
  • Train customers and coworkers on the safe and proper use of ProWash chemical systems and equipment.
  • Independently assess customer cleaning needs and recommend system or product solutions that best meet expectations.
  • Assist outside vendors or contractors by providing information or support during on-site work.
  • Maintain detailed service records and documentation in accordance with company policies.
  • Ensure compliance with HAZMAT, MSDS, EPA, and OSHA standards.
  • Operate all tools and machinery safely, adhering to company safety policies and PPE requirements.
  • Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, safety, and customer satisfaction.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with chemical dispensing systems, electrical/mechanical repair, or industrial equipment service.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with a strong customer focus.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and travel daily to customer locations.
  • Knowledge of HAZMAT, EPA, OSHA, and MSDS requirements.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move items over 50 pounds and work in environments requiring climbing, bending, or kneeling.

Compensation & Benefits:
The pay range for this role is $28.00 - $36.00 per hour. This range represents what the company reasonably expects to pay an associate for this role based on current market data, internal equity, and other business factors. The actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other considerations.
