Radians has become a major leader in the safety industry by manufacturing high-performance Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the industrial, construction, and safety markets.


Position Summary: The Forklift Equipment Operator supports inventory processes, solutions, and strategies for the continuous improvement of inventory accuracy and order fulfillment quality; including cycle counts, data entry, tracking, reconciling, documenting, and reporting. Investigates and resolve inventory inaccuracies and provide root cause analysis and recommendations for corrective actions. Works with the Inventory Manager and Peers to brainstorm ways to reduce inventory discrepancy and possible theft or "shrink." Compile inventory information and present it to management for effective decision-making. MUST HAVE Cherry Picker experience. 


Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Initiate policy changes regarding inventory in the company.
  • Perform managerial functions, including retraining members of staff of the warehouse if necessary.
  • Perform forward and reverse Empty Bins daily.
  • Perform Audits of moves and put away.
  • Disposition returns to stock items, including cycle count and research if needed.
  • Maintain count accuracy (digital and physical counting)
  • Follows all existing company policies and procedures.
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization of their work area.
  • Works well with others.
  • Uses computerized inventory software to record, track, and maintain all inventory-related data.
  • Inventory Specialist skills are needed.

Education and/or Experience and Other Skills and Abilities:

  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • Cherry Picker and Reach Truck experience required.
  • 1+ years' experience in inventory management or related field
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent math and accounting skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Job-specific training is required before the start date.
  • Work experience in inventory control is strongly preferred.
