CAREER OPPORTUNITY

Job Position: Freight Audit & Payment Analyst

Department: Supply Chain Management

Function:

  • Develop and manage various Freight payment processes.

Duties Include:

· Retrieve payment file reports and manage exceptions.

· Weekly reconciliation of electronic funding requests

· Assist Customer service with tracking, POD, shipping errors, and returns

· Resolve freight bill issues

· Coordinate with clerk to ensure freight information is accurate and timely

· Audit invoices and prepare payment files for Import shipments

· Analyze Parcel reports. Resolve incorrect billing, communicate address and account errors

· Daily communication with third party freight bill audit Company concerning all aspects of the freight bill payment process

· Process, file, and track Freight Claims as submitted by Sales/Customer Service

· Maintain BOL and Carrier data within QAD

· Assists with Carrier Bid Events, managing data and contract files

· Primary Point of contact for TMS and QAD Freight related process issues

· Provides various freight bill payment reports for management

· Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree or 3 to 5 years of practical experience in transportation, customer service or accounts payable.

· Must have excellent computer skills. Experience with Microsoft Office and advanced excel skills.

· Experience in transportation administration is preferred.
