Job Description:
As a leader of the global Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery team, you will develop the next evolution of Dimensional's Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Program, including reviewing and restructuring business continuity plans and exercise schedules, developing self-service capabilities for business stakeholders, and providing guidance to our Crisis Management Team.
The Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Manager is a hands on role along with providing thought leadership as well as practical solutions to increase resilience and enable continuity and recovery of service for our internal clients.

What you might work on:
  • Assess, evolve, lead, and transform Dimensional's Disaster recovery program to leverage enterprise capabilities and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain Business Continuity Plans through engagement and collaboration with business and technical leadership.
  • Lead and collaborate with the network engineering team as business continuity program team to maintain accountability for monitoring effectiveness of technical resiliency activities.
  • Drive program adoption and implementation through process development, advocacy, example, and training.
  • Ensure alignment between the business continuity and disaster recovery programs and validate people, process, and technology resources required for resiliency in the event of a recovery situation.
  • Evaluate business requirements with technical stakeholders to inform the design of and monitor the effectiveness of architecture supporting resiliency and recovery objectives.
  • Maintain awareness of and assess gaps in practice against developments in global business continuity and disaster recovery standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Foster and leverage relationships with leadership to achieve intended outcomes and ensure alignment.
  • Interface with business continuity partners to ensure alignment between Business Continuity Plans and business process and resiliency architectures.
  • Strategize, develop, lead, and execute tabletop exercises across Dimensional's business and technology areas focused on educating all levels of stakeholders and maturing preparedness of our continuity and resiliency posture.
  • Design a "continuous testing" methodology and a governance model to test/audit/refine our posture.
  • Ensure DR stress tests exist to validate that BC requirements are well understood and have been met, including coordination, planning, and execution of large-scale DR exercises.
  • Conduct Business Impact Analyses to identify potential risks and evaluate business impacts.
  • Design integrations with incident response and disaster recovery functions and processes.
  • Prepare and maintain, the organization in external communications and documentation on all BC, DR, and other resiliency related topics.
  • Coordinate departmental responses and internal stakeholder communications during continuity events.
  • Coordinate reporting to boards, executives, and key stakeholders on our state of continuity, including strengths, risks, and areas of opportunity.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Risk Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years' experience in managing enterprise business continuity functions
  • Proven track record of implementing and managing BCPs, BIAs, and other continuity deliverables to measurably improve the continuity stance of an organization.
  • Experience conducting large-scale continuity exercises.
  • Deep understanding of technology infrastructure and its role in enabling business operations.
  • Experience interfacing and communicating with executives in the capacity of continuity responsibilities.
  • Experience leading enterprise-scale projects.

Preferred Competencies:
  • Certifications in one of the following preferred: ABCP, CBCP, CBCPI, CISSP, GCIH, ITIL, or BCI
  • Experience with BC/DR planning software and notification systems.
  • Experience in incident management and reporting.
  • Understanding security & infrastructure standards and regulations is a plus.
  • Experience in the financial services industry, particularly familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements
