About Our Client

Our client is a minority-owned insurance defense boutique that punches well above its weight in the New York litigation market. They handle premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, professional negligence, construction accidents, and Labor Law matters for property owners, insurers, and municipalities across the state. What sets them apart is how they run their practice. Attorneys here carry real autonomy - you manage your own files from inception through resolution without a partner breathing over your shoulder. The firm is intentional about growth, and senior associates are expected to mentor junior attorneys and help shape how the practice evolves. If you have spent years developing skill inside a large defense firm and want to do meaningful work without the politics, this is the right move. They are committed to building a team that reflects the diversity of the clients they serve, and that value runs through how they hire, promote, and lead.

- Argue motions, conduct depositions, appear in court, and handle mediations and arbitrations

- Maintain clear and proactive communication with carriers and claims professionals

- Track billable hours accurately and meet invoicing expectations

- Mentor junior associates and paralegals on case strategy and professional standards

- Collaborate with partners on high-stakes or novel matters

Who Thrives Here

You have been doing strong defense work but you want more control over your cases and your practice. You are a self-starter who does not need to be managed, and you take pride in the quality of your work product. You are comfortable being the person junior attorneys lean on. You want a firm where your contribution is visible and your growth is real.
