About the Role:
The Insurance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and guiding staff that are assigned to client-contracted work, ensuring quality performance and adherence to project goals. This role ensures that staff are being supported and mentored in their professional growth while monitoring their performance and attendance.
Title: Insurance Supervisor
Location: Remote
Schedule: 8am-4:30pm EST
Department: Insurance
Reports To: Insurance Manager
Compensation: $60,000-$70,000
Key Responsibilities:
Maintaining high levels of responsiveness and service quality to ensure positive client relationships and client satisfaction
Drive overall team productivity and quality standards through collaboration and support
Distribution of client accounts and work
Management of staff performance and attendance
Supporting leadership initiatives
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma
3 years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)
1 year in a senior or lead role
Proficiency in navigating EHR billing platforms
Working knowledge of billing and insurance collections
5 years of experience with healthcare transactions such as billing, insurance follow-up, government and non-government, hospital and physician, denials management, under payments/zero payments and other revenue cycle functions
Strong knowledge of Microsoft office suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
Delegation and leadership capabilities
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate's degree
2 years in a senior or lead role
Prior remote work experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with staff, clients and leadership
Excellent time management with the ability to prioritize and multitask
