In the Residential Support Services (RSS) program, we provide 24-hour staffed residential services, family support, advocacy, and community day programs. We believe in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities to live fulfilling, empowered lives by promoting safety, independence, and inclusion in their communities.

What You'll Do

As a Residential Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals in group home settings by:

  • Assisting and monitoring daily living to promote independence, competency, and decision-making

  • Monitoring individuals' overall health and well-being

  • Providing support with medication treatment and related documentation

  • Delivering crisis intervention and emergency support when needed

  • Initiating and encouraging community activities and fostering social support networks

  • Ensuring quality of life through empowerment, safety awareness, dignity, and respect
