Minimum Qualificationย 
  • Must be 18 years of age.ย 
  • Possess a valid Driverโ€™s license.ย 
  • Person in this position must be able to move about in the community 80% of the time.ย 
  • Must have valid CPR/First Aid Card. (Provided by Oak and Cedar).ย 
  • Must receive clearance to work by the Department of Justice (Live scan).ย 
  • Must have a have reliable transportation
Duties and Responsibilitiesย 
  • Willingness to transport participants in personal vehicle.ย 
  • Work at a 1:2 staff to client ratioย 
  • Promote Person Centered Thinking, Client Choice, Independence, etc.ย 
  • Provide support in the following areas: Recreation, Socialization, Health and Safety,ย 
  • Community Inclusion, Communication, and Self-Advocacy.ย 
  • Maintain schedules and routines, record keeping, documentation, etc.ย 
  • Perform skills training as identified in each participantโ€™s Individual Service Plans which include but are not limited to the following: community inclusion, social skill building, skill acquisition, and behavioral support needs.ย 
  • Work with individuals with histories of aggression.ย 
  • Participate in the assessment process and collection of data; Report writing.ย 
  • Attend required training and staff meetings.ย 
  • Other duties as assigned.ย
