As our Branch Manager, you will earn a starting salary of $67,105.17 (starting salary increases with relevant experience) and enjoy outstanding benefits, including:

OUR IDEAL BRANCH MANAGER
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of financial institution experience
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to coach, develop, and support a service-based sales culture
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, email/IM, and multiple technology platforms
  • Eligibility to register with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System & Registry (NMLS)

  • Knowledge of credit union operations and the credit union movement preferred

WHAT THIS BRANCH MANAGER POSITION ENTAILS
This full-time, exempt opportunity provides leadership oversight of TRUE Community Credit Union's Ypsilanti Branches located at 424 S. Mansfield St. and 1861 Whittaker Rd. This role requires regular on-site leadership presence at both locations and approximately 20% travel.
As our Branch Manager, you'll lead and develop a high-performing team while fostering a culture focused on service, relationship building, and member financial well-being. You will oversee daily branch operations, staffing, scheduling, and workflow to ensure members receive exceptional service during every interaction. You'll establish goals, monitor performance, coach team members toward success, and hold employees accountable through meaningful development conversations and action plans.
You will also serve as a trusted resource for staff, helping resolve member concerns, answering questions regarding products and services, and ensuring employees have the knowledge and confidence needed to succeed. In addition, you'll monitor branch performance and profitability, identify opportunities to improve efficiency through processes and technology, ensure compliance with policies and regulations, and represent TRUE within the community through outreach and engagement activities.
